Overview of our Company History

Optimax was founded over 25 years ago and has been continuously developing since then. Our journey is marked by significant milestones and successes.

1997

Foundation of Optimax®

Start in Saalfeld with Focus on Great Britain

The company was founded by Elias Georges Daniel and initially specialized in groupage line services to and from Great Britain. In the following year, the first apprenticeship position was offered, and the number of employees grew steadily.

1998

First Apprenticeship Position

Growth and Training as a Foundation

The early success of the company made it possible to create a first apprenticeship position just one year after its foundation – a sign of sustainable growth and future orientation.

2006

Leadership Change after the Founder's Death

New Management by Markus Daniel and Kathleen Swora

After the death of Elias Georges Daniel, his brother Markus Daniel together with Kathleen Swora, the first apprentice, took over the management of the company.

2015

Worldwide Expansion

International Orientation Becomes Global

What began with line services to Great Britain was gradually expanded to Ireland and all of Europe – since 2015, optimax® has also been offering worldwide transport services. In parallel, the vehicle fleet was continuously expanded and the team enlarged.

2021

New Management

Continuation by Andreas Hausdorf and Chris Sperber

Since 2021, Andreas Hausdorf and Chris Sperber have been successfully leading the company, focusing on continuity and further development.
